Every treatment is tailored to your individual stage of recovery, side lying is still used if the breasts are tender or you are recovering from a c-section.

Ideal for

  • Feeding position related neck, shoulder and upper back tension

  • Repeated bending related lower back discomfort

  • Sitting with pelvis tilted causing tight hips and aching glutes

  • Suitable from the early weeks following an uncomplicated birth, provided there are no medical contraindications

Scar Therapy

C-section & Hysterectomy

Following surgery, such as c-section or hysterectomy, it is common for the scar and surrounding tissues to feel tight, sensitive or restricted as it heals. This specialist treatment uses gentle scar massage and soft tissue techniques to improve tissue mobility, reduce discomfort and support a more comfortable recovery.

Initial consultation: Prior to commencing treatment, an initial consultation is required to discuss your scar(s) in detail. A short hands-on session will follow to assess the scar and create an appropriate treatment plan.

Ideal for

  • Tight or restricted scars

  • Scar sensitivity

  • Breaking down psychological barriers and improving body confidence

  • Suitable from once your incision has fully healed; the skin has completely closed, with no open areas, scabs, bleeding, increased redness, warmth or swelling which could indicate an infection. Ladies with older scars are very welcome to have an initial consultation

Deep Tissue / Sports Massage

Whether you're training for an event, recovering after exercise or simply managing the physical demands of everyday life, deep tissue or sports massage can help reduce muscular tension, improve flexibility and support recovery.

These types of massages have a reputation for being painful, but making your muscles tense during massage is counterproductive! In order to achieve the right balance between an effective treatment and your comfort level, the pressure is adjusted throughout to meet your needs.

Ideal for

  • Deep Tissue - A deeper massage working on a broad area such as the neck, shoulders and back

  • Reduces muscular aches and stiffness. Great for post-gym workouts and posture related discomfort

  • Sports Massage - More targeted to a specific muscle group or working around a joint

  • Usually goal orientated, but not exclusively for athletes, as many people can befit from this targeted treatment

  • Both treatments are suitable for all women 18 years +
